Vasser-Sullivan Signs Santino Ferrucci

Dale Coyne Racing’s 2020 driver lineup was confirmed today when the team announced that Santino Ferrucci will be moving to the No. 18 DCR with Vasser-Sullivan Honda. It was just over a month ago that the team announced Alex Palou as one of their drivers in the NTT IndyCar Series, but did not specify at the time which car he would be in. Ferrucci moves over to the SealMaster seat that Sebastien Bourdais held previously.

After an outstanding rookie season last year and 21 total races under his belt with the team, the 21-year old driver will now lead the way for Coyne’s two-car team that also saw big changes in the engineering department. Ferrucci has led 118 laps in IndyCar and finished his first 19 races. He finished 7th in his first Indianapolis 500 last May, and his aggressive driving style made several highlight reels within the series. The full press release from today is below.
