One of the five full-time vacancies in IndyCar was filled today by Juncos Hollinger Racing. The team announced the signing of Sting Ray Robb, who began his rookie season at Dale Coyne and was with AJ Foyt Racing last year. The 23-year old spent three seasons on the Road To Indy with Juncos, where they won the 2020 Indy Pro Championship together.
Robb will fill a financial hole for the team as they struggle to find sponsorship dollars. No car number was mentioned in today’s announcement. Romain Grosjean and Conor Daly are the top contenders to fill the team’s second seat. The full press release from today is below.
